i also have a dry textured skin w larger pores, the ordinarys serum foundation is my absolute favorite and it’s v affordable too

it’s very liquidy but has a nice coverage, dont expect a thick cakey concealer like foundation it’s more,, liquidy and serum like
ooohh nice ok 2 recommendations for that foundation, i will definitely check it out! have you tried their primer? idk if i should get a primer with it as well, i quite like the maybelline babyskin primer but would maybe like to try a new one
no i dont use primers, i just do my skincare routine before makeup !
okk im a little lazy so i dont always do it haha but maybe it would help if i started doing that xd

important to use scrub, good face wash and moisturizer to avoid flaking. mine gets patchy on the nose if i havent scrubbed in a while.

i try that too, but i find it easier if i approach them, and they dont approach me cx
just ask if its possible to get a small sample in a container. most stores have them, at least makeup stores.

Fenty sucked on me, it stuck to my dry areas, made it look flaky. Found the perfect shade, but formula sucked.
I'm very happy with the clinique 2 in 1 foundation. Covers nicely, you don't need much and blends nicely.

Otherwise I tried one from HUDA - too dark for me and I used the lightest shade.
Too Faced was too perfumed and gave me a rash + it was cakey

Heard good about maybellines mat poreless tho. Plus it comes in a larger range of shades for a drugstore brand.

I have v dry skin and kinda yellow undertones as well and the only one I can truly recommend is Fenty beauty’s original foundation, can’t remember the name atm but, there’s so many shades and I think the formula is perfect for dryer skin types!!! Can’t bother w any other foundation after trying that one and I’ve been through a lot of different brands in my days, both high and low end. It’s truly amazing.
