oh man dude good luck i stayed in one once (a fairly good one luckily) & the ppl who work in inpatient care just don't gaf about ppl in there it sux & i've heard a lotta horror stories about the worse places. tho i think under 18 inpatient facilities tend to be worse than adults ??? the place i went to was pretty chill aside from a worker. nurse. whoever he was asking me a ton of inappropriate sexual questions bc i said i was bi & no one rly understanding mental health lmao

i used to have an internship at the psych ward when i was in college and it was nice, actually
i mean i've heard horror stories too, but at this specific hospital everything was pretty good

I think working at the psych ward would be really great

I also had to move out of my village for my job
Now I live literally next to the hospital in a building with just workers from there

Wha, that sounds horrible!! I'm sorry you had to experience that!

This is the complete opposite than what I've heard from our psychosomatic ward, which is supposed to be a really pleasant work place.

OH I ASSUMED IT WAS LMAO i've known ppl who've had it as a career but that sounds nice tho i imagine u get to know a lot of people really well! not similar at all but reminds me i used to work as a waiter in senior living & the people there were amazing i'd always be talking too much to all of them LOL they loved me tho getting to know everyone was the best part of the job

i've never heard of a psychosomatic ward is that just a specialized place for ppl w psychosomatic disorders ? i looked it up & not a lot came up idk if we even have that in the US & i don't have any psychosomatic disorders afaik? . if u talk to ppl (at least in the US) who've been on psychiatric hold u will absolutely hear horror stories. i got real lucky my stay was quick too (5-6 days iirc) if ur mental illness is severe enough & depending on what state you're in/how old u are u can be held for a longass time against ur will
