Are the daily pills because you have a constant headache that sometimes becomes so bad that it turns into a migraine "attack"??? Or is it because you have very bad migraine? 
(Can recommend the piercing btw if you don't already have it)

no, they're for preventing migraine attacks. i had to get them when i started having them almost weekly and sometimes when one passed i got a new one right after. the attacks themselves are quite bad, and they affect the few next days also, so life got pretty unpleasant.
i've heard about the piercing, but people are a bit divided about it actually working i might get it sometime anyways just for aesthetical purposes, but even better if it actually helps
