But ye... idk where I fully stand on that. Some 16 yr olds have formed their own thoughts and opinions, but I've noticed a lot that haven't done much of that *cough my brother* and spout the ignorant shit their super religious 60+ yr old teachers say... (That's v specific though. He's a 17 yr old in a private Catholic school lol)

I think it's a bad idea. Younger people often think too briefly and naively. There is often a lack of political education - although there might be exceptions, but still. At the age of 16 I would have voted for a completely different party than today (22) - for example.

Yeah me too, also, people usually vote thinking about what personally affects them, 16-18 (19) care about high school while honestly the rest of us don't. So I think it can cause high school to actually improve because people start voting for people who want to change the system.

Not gonna lie, but i totally disagree with the last statement, i think 16 is exactly one of those years where u are rather influenced by others and fitting the mass 😬

I think it should remain 18+, then u start getting more responsiblities and can form opinions based on experience
