Yeah, it's better to have time for yourself and it's tbh refreshing too after a relationship that didnt work out!! It's none of my business so if u dont feel like it it's ok, but if you're ok with sharing, what went wrong previous relationship?

but basically we were both not doing very well mentally, he was admitted to psychiatric hospital for four months i think, and i had my own things to deal with so i couldnt handle all that. it really broke me completely, and i had to pull away from the mess that it had become. a lot of pain could have been avoided if we both had admitted months earlier that we werent able to handle being in a relationship anymore. it ended kinda weird but the first year was amazing, so i cherish that
