jesus that's expensive asfuck, it's like 300kr both ways in total when i have to go to jylland (also a 3 hours drive), but u probably need to wear a mask..
I think iss just a recommendation currently to wear them there, so I will see once it gets closer cus im thinking imma go there in easter now, just, I literally don't own a mask n also I get so bad anxiety from wearing one I would probably just drop dead. Also smoking smh

Hm I don’t mind it much, can’t really blame anyone when I know I don’t pronounce shit correctly all the time either, not in other languages at least

Ye but I know Scandinavian languages don’t have the exact same phonetic sounds as English, should go for Norwegian too but I know Swedes have a hard time pronouncing th as that’s a sound that doesn’t exist in our language, so all of that is very very reasonable, you’d literally have to learn a completely new sound and that’s a lot easier said than done
same reason why Japanese speakers have trouble hearing a difference between r and l, since their phonetics have that as the same letter, while we have two different sounds for it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thats not the cause for the anxiety, its cus I look stupid lmaooo, n also just having it over ur face ouff. I tried one of the medical ones just to like, try yeah, n it was so horrible ouff. I mean, norwegian restrictions r more locally based, n where I live there r barely/none covid cases so theres like nothing except wash ur hands n stay 1 meter apart or whatevr

Yeah I think swedish speakers have a harder time  tho, like the whole pronounciation kf words/letter are so different, but w norwegian, the only one I can think of is english r is hard to pronounce, like saying mirror lol, absolutely horrible. But w sedish everything has that distinct swedish sound ukno, but norwegian doesn't have a distinct sound like that, except some parts

take a bet that it is probably not something the person with the impairments enjoys either. like my sis was struggling with some letters as a kid and she had to take lessons for it, and it affected her a lot bc she got teased over it.

Oh I’d say Norwegian have a very specific sound haha, but I don’t know how it is with your phonetics so I can’t speak about that part, that I can only say from a Swedish point of view so far, made me curious tho so I might look into it

Yes honestly it was so weird, cus the dude I like now, couldn't say r at all at barneskole or ungdomsskolen, but he was transferred to out school at barneskolen after being bullied at another one, n then despite not being bullied he still couldn't say r at all in those years yeah, but now that I met him cus he goes in my sisters class at vgs (he dropped out equal amount as me lmao) he suddenly speaks completely normal !! I was like wtf. N I even commented on it but I think he said he was too lazy to try to learn it at undomsskolen lmao

I think we have a distinct accent, esp if ur from south norway (like oslo n stuff ?) but other than the accent, I think the letter pronounciation is almost the same idk

I mean their accent when they speak english, its the typical norwegian english accent, but western norwegian ppl for example have an easier time speaking english in a believable tone n stuff
