norwegians usually(or at least me n all the ppl i know) type in more than they think theyre gonna earn so they pay more taxes but then get them back, as a form of saving money 
again idk how taxes work in denmark but here u fill out a form every year w ur (expected) income for the following year plus some other stuff n ur taxes are calculated based on that

hm yeah it was both i think, cant really remember, it's was when i was in gymnasium. it is just weird, cause either way it's money from the government, so why does they tax u, if the government have to pay u back. but anyways skat is so fucking confusing, everytime i got payment and i could see something was wrong with my payment, i have used like 1-2 hours figuring out what the problem was.. why dont we learn these things in school 😩 everyone has to deal with it

i tried being a naver when i got laid off back in 2020. they gave me 1k nok after being with them for 4 months (my monthly sallary was 15k at the time) so i just said fuck them and got a job instead. and now they do this to me smh

sometimes you just earn less than expected so u pay more taxes than u should, so they give it back. you also have some ways to get tax relieves, which is also payd out with the tax returns
