pretty sure whatever reason they give can be traced back to "we don't like poor people who have to work on their own vehicles"
yeah i mean it can also be just about that. idk i'm somewhat geeky about things like what happens if you park heavy things on soft/loose ground, because at some point the pressure might harm some plumbing structures etcÂ
the only reason I make that assumption is because of WHO actually gets cited and what their vehicles LOOK like.
It's not fair across the board...
their argument when I got my citation was something about fluids from the vehicle getting into the ground - but gravel doesn't stop that either.Â
it also feels like a way to limit how many vehicles you can have without
actually limiting them, which in turn, hurts poor folks who have to live with lots of people in one home.Â
the family that graveled their entire driveway is huge - they used to own almost half the houses on this street, and got hit hard by unforeseen circumstances leading to poverty, and multiple families living in the home.
oh right, it explains a lot that they change the reasoning according to who it concerns. that does sound shady af and i hope the people making things like that go about get parked on by a bunch of trucks one day. but on very firm ground that doesn't give in!!!!!!
