Ooo that sounds like an interesting career.
I'm not sure what I want to do yet but I'm finishing an Associates in Arts and Sciences degree this semester & then transferring in the fall. I'll either be majoring in Communications, Technology, and Culture (which is like a mix of journalism, film, stuff like that, and interpersonal communications) or Sociology
is arts and sciences one degree cuz that sounds rly interesting
It is yeah. I had to take 1 english class, 1 history class, 1 humanities class, 2 sciences, a bunch of electives (most of the options were extra sciences, social sciences, english, etc.) and then we could choose between 2 math classes and 1 social science or 1 math class and 2 social sciences. That's how I ended up interested in sociology, haha. It was definitely more science than art for me but there were some art elective options like painting, film appreciation, music theory, etc.

Im a private contractor doing remote work with COVID data. won't get into too much detail but hearing my hourly wage for the first time made my head around spin around 5 times. After my contact is up, I'll probably end up taking a permanent job as a student advisor, making a little less than I make now.

dropping out of a top 5 university was the best move I ever made
That sounds so cool! What have you studied if you don’t mind me asking?
lol I was actually in the arts for years and got my associates first in film studies, then I switched to Dance with a focus in Dance medicine my junior year. A lot of students in the arts program at my school were well off and never had to work to support themselves, but that wasn't the case for me, so after a year and a half I dropped out. The schedule they expected students to follow was way too demanding from someone who had to work nearly full time, so I cut my losses and headed north. heh and here we are

luckily while I was there, I got to do an internship at a company that had a lot of different branches, which helped me get a lot of experience working in multiple health and fitness fields, but I never could have guessed I'd be doing what I do now.
