hemoglobin prefers CO over O, so if you breathe in any CO it will take the place of O. 

Ah the scewed is like the curved is moved to the right of the left. if its moved to the right your red blood cells give away their oxygen to tissue easier cus u need it (example respiratory diseases).

are you going for medicine? good luck, trust me its not as bad as it seems<3

OH I DO get that i just learned it differently! that's like exactly the same kinda stuff i was talking about earlier exc. i wasn't really using a graph just "these factors make it bind more or less" so right screwed (give away easer) means lowers oxygen binding affinity and left screwed (hold it more) would mean raise oxygen binding affinity!! i think! 

oops sorry i hope this doesn't confuse you more my translating your terms into mine 

i'm going to vet school (assuming i get in) applying next semester (assuming i get shadowing in)
