I realized my diet was about control
I remember going on a kayaking trip at ten w/ my friends and I bit into some sandwich to not look weird (i was very secretive about my habits) and it tasted good, but it was on my forbidden list, so I threw it away when no one was looking
I did finally relent and enjoy corn dogs that trip and began eating them after that
I guess finally... I got sick of like, constantly hiding my food weirdness, so idk, I starting cooking my own food, mixing "forbidden" food w/ my favorites (pasta and cheese) until I just realized trying new things isnt always terrifying. And controlling food is more scary
