they refuse to like do any sorta testing or anything before im clean because idk they think it might like effect the outcome or something?? idfk like ive been told by friends n such that they know of people whove been tested while having addiction issues so I don't understand why it's a big deal it's not like I walk around totally zapped all day you know but gRR nope they wont n its annoying cause

i think its hard getting in with more common issues like depression and anxiety tho but who knows it depends on how it is where you live

i guess what helped was that at the time i was a minor + enrolled in primary school where it is basically their duty to send you to a health care center where they then can refer you to an psych clinic if you concern them enough
...also i was pretty much in an "emergency" situation with my depression so uhh they wanted me into the system asap

i don't have depression in my list of diagnoses tho, possibly bc i've been dealing it with 10+ years so it now counts into my personality disorder, but i'm still technically treated for it bc "depression symptoms" is a thing
