Ah, and I think I remember now. I had this issue with my Renault Twingo. I could turn the key in the ignition a thousand times, but nothing happened - until it did. Could take half an hour to get my car going lmao. It got worse and worse, so I was forced to visit the workshop. I dunno what they did to fix it, but that was the story.
