The vaccine deals with just some strains that have been linked to cancer - it reduces risk but yeah it does not eliminate it. Thats why we are supposed to get tested for abnormal cells every year.

fair I was probably in my early 20s when I had to start.
I think its actually every 5 years for most, but for me its every year because I have had abnormal cells (which can become cancer)

Yeah I would think so tbh, just cus it takes so long before I get my period when I take a break for them, so I think they stay in the body for a while idk

that's not a thing in finland at least, because public healthcare... we get pap smears every 5 years from ages 25-60
other than that we never go to the doctor for "check ups", only if there's an issue
