on a different note, how do you MAKE banana bread @atencia @Nesta
cause im looking at three different norwegian recipies now and they all call for different things???
some use natron and bakepulver while others use just bakepulver, some use no sugar at all and others use either white or brown or both, some use oil while some dont, some use milk, some use yoghurt??? while others dont and some use havremel while others use hvete
i was thinking of doing half and half hvete and havremel, but is there a benefit to using natron as well? and do you use oil or milk or both or none? im so confused how some literally only call for egg as the wet ingredient !!
i also want to get it as tall as possible

like with any kind of baking, what banana bread recipe you use comes down to ingredient preferences and what you like really. They’re all probably good, and you’ll just have to try a few different ones until you figure out what works best for you (I just started with one simple recipe and then I’ve been switching out ingredients and measurements every time I’ve made it to fit my preferences)
I only use a little bit of baking powder and I find that my banana breads usually rise nicely. In terms of milk and oil, I use both, but not a lot of either so that the batter doesn’t get too thin (and I’m vegan so I don’t use egg obviously)
