Animals can get smarter by breeding to, it takes a long time and a lot of hard training.
Crows can change litter for food and such and they are quick learners.

I think humans will be able to change their bodies in the future to get ears and so on. A lot of humans think that they are actually animals in a human body. If a human want real function cat ears i wonder how they would work. Our ear canals are on a low level in our skulls and the cat has them higher up. How would our hearing be? Animals can hear things on a low frequency that we humans cant. Would sound be louder and how will it affect the person on a daily basis?Ā Ā
