Now we are at the topic, what moisturizer is good?
I love Paulas Choice! They have different moisturizers, i really depends on what kind of skin you have and what it needs. They are fragrance free aswell which is important (... for me atleast).
Personally like i fragrance free too, as neutral as it can get, because I have past experience with irritation with products.
Yes, same here! It smells good and all but a no no for the skin

Cleanse a few times a week and moisturise at least once a day, more likely after need. This worked with my skin at least. It took me two years to properly rehydrate it below the surface and stop flaking in literally no time to being nice now.

Im not a person that jusr change products fast. I'm more in it for the long game and you need a few months to see if it works and if your skin adapt well to what you're using. I did the most basic thing, a gentle cleanser and a thick moisturizer and just rolled w it.
I've been doing the same thing for almost a year n its been working but the cold is making legit my entire body all whack, my face is like flakey, my legs r so itchy, my back is itchy, my hands have sores, love my life

Look into hyaluronic acids to layer underneath moisturiser. U put them on when ur face is v damp and then put on ur moisturiser afterwards. Also I completely SWEAR by sealing in moisturiser w vaseline , especially on xtra dry patches. Like a thick layer of vaseline as the last step when ur going to sleep. Also how do u cleanse ur skin ? Cleansing oils n non foaming cleansers r essential

Try a cleansing oil I think they r by far the best for very dry skin. N only cleanse once a day MAX

Also! I find using face masks in the shower very helpful. I like rly hot showers n those definitely dry out my face a loooot but if I have some kind of hydrating mask on, or like a sheet mask , I find my skin doesn't dry out as much .

Try some light acids to gently get rid of the the dead skin
Don't wash your face with hot water and try to avoid long hot showers
For super quick nourishment try some sheet masks. But good ones with either shea or collagen
find a good nourishing moisturiser

I found Micellar water and moisturizer helped a shiiit ton
Acc thank u for saying this, I used micellar water cus I already owned it, and I think its made it better. I just use it in the morning after cleanser (then put moustruizer after) n then for taking off my makeup in the evening and moustruizer after that again, n it seems to have made it better tbh. The forehead lines r still there but they are less visible, and overall my skin feels smoother and looks less irritated with red patches etc. Also helped the pores/blackhead type stuff on my nose yeeha

i get rly gross fucking dry skin esp in the winter n lit the only thing that works or me is

cleanse in the morn, exfoliate 2 or 3 times a week in the winter. cleanse in evening too

DR GREVE BODYLOTION for face idk what it is but that shit is a godsend and its at the grocery store, normal application in the morning, thick application in the evening
works even better when paired w a face oil (i use a rosehip, argan or watermelon seed??? one depending, mix n match sometimes. all over face before bed, stops the dry patches from popping up during the night) in the winter but tbh i dont find it that necessary unless its a Bad Week, but it feels nice anyway, stops that dry tight feeling the skin gets
