My heart broke hearing this as a Russian citizen, and as someone who's got loved ones on both sides, family, and friends,
none wants this war, none believes this will take us anywhere productive,
people in Kyiv and big cities trying to flee, people in Moscow trying to peacefully protest on their own just to be arrested...
this will end up badly, the Ukrainian side will lose its cities and lots of people, will take years to restore the moral and places, and the Russian side will suffer a great economic fall, making the people even poorer and the country more in debt and in crisis
war has no winning side, and Putin and his criminal oligarchs and the kremlin need to go, but who knows when or more like IF that would happen.
I was supposed to be leaving Israel to go back to my home, and I'm SO thankful that I didn't as they live RIGHT next to the Ukrainian border and it would've been hell, plus no way of getting out of there as of this moment.
