age like 8-14 my brother and were only allowed on the computer/ps2 every other day for i think 3 hours and then however much we wanted on the weekend and it was the best parenting decision my parents ever made i think
but then on none computer days we'd just watch tv and i guess that's a screen too, u cant excape them
I don't remember how much me and my sister got to play on ps2 at that age, but when we started playing games on the computer (gsm and rs, lol) we got like 2-3 hours a day, except our parents was not good at upkeeping this because
we would sneak in time before they got home from work, and then they let my sister "stock up" her hours so if she didn't use them one day, she could use them next day. I don't think they felt like fighting it. Anyways, they did some bad ass restrictions which was "you can sit between 18-20\21 o'clock" on the weekdays and like it actively PREVENTED us from leaving the house because we didn't want to miss our hours. lmaofff at a point they gave up restricting anything and here I am... to be fair, mostly here bc mental health fuck up and no social life but here I am : ) (I was good at screen time before that)
hahaha yeah we did this too, though i was v much a goody two shoes so not until i was like 13 i think, or like 12 at least. But yeah no, ours were like set days, whatever time we wanted, and we could swap the days around of we wanted to so if we were at a friends place on a computer day we could swap em for the next day so we never had an issue of skipping out on stuff to be on the computer luckily ,,, which is probably what made it a good thing instead of a bd thing haha
