please i tried cashier once and it was disastrous not bc of shyness uwuwuw but because it's so much to remember and to take into consideration (like having to look at ppl's carts sigh) and whatever, harder than it seems or mayb i was too nervous and dumb smh, either way horrible. especially when there are situations where the clients ask u to solve an issue and ur just there like   : )   i do not know anything mate

plus it seems like everyone is too busy doing their job to really train u properly abt stuff (like ur situation w the car wash) so u just gotta pick up on it eventually
