Idk the things he brought up that he personally agreed with.. Well let's just say it's extremely removed from my core values, but it's because family isn't one of my values. I do not picture a future with that nuclear family thing for myself, I have nightmares about children and babies so obviously the entire career vs family discussion is 100% outside what I'm interested in because I'm 100% career anyway. 
And for the record my mate isn't like women belong in the kitchen baby factory but rather that people should perhaps not chase careers to the degree they do and blabla but I don't agree because career is everything

I'm very reluctant cutting him off because he has already lost the majority of his friends that's outside the conservative kind of circles and I don't think that's right either, especially as he isn't fundamentally conservative and I think he perhaps needs input from people who doesn't vote right-wing just to get some kind of check?? Ish? To have things more contested rather than the echo chamber things

You might be either for some, but who you are isn't one individuals perception of you alone (not even if that one individual is you). But that's mostly because everything in excess (no matter how good it may be) is bad. And again, you don't know the sum of your parts as well as your surrounding does.

I don't have a huge issue with it personally I'm just worried he'll end up being very extremist if he continues
