I bought new books at a library sale last week, idk if I manage to start and finish any till Halloween but I'll try.

There's a few spooky in there I think?
ohh what books did you get?
I'm on mobile so I'm too lazy to write the titles down.

They are mostly in german, the one titled Blutspuren is about true crime in the DDR (GDR).

I follow Neil Gaiman on tumblr and he told the story behind the book at one point (how the daughter of the publisher was scared but wanted to know how the story ended so she told her father it wasn't too scary for kids). and I wanted to read it ever since.

i dont believe in halloween either but i have had these books laying around for too long so i thought i might as well read them while its spooky season + the early darkness help set the mood
sounds like a good time then : )
yes thats what i thought. i just need to finish the hunchback of notre dame but i have a feeling i will do that tonight or tomorrow
have you watched the notre-dame mini series on netflix yet? I just saw it tonight in one-go, and it was great! It had such a grounded framing while offering up several great plot arcs.

I hate spooky things, but I am considering reading Frankenstein. I also have H P Lovecraft on my bookshelf, and his stories should also be rather scary, so I might just read a few of them.
