currently living with my grandparents as i moved countries a couple of months ago (have lived abroad for the past three years) and couldn't afford getting an apartment of my own right away

gosh yeah some of the people i've messaged are like "we can only put you on a waitlist to potentially come view the flat" or like "thanks for showing interest, we might come back to you". like wtf we're not even talking proper apartments, these are like tiny studios or basement flats for students. and the monthly rent is already more than what we get from the student loan

living with my grandparents is not ideal as it's far from the university and i've basically lost my independence, but i might have to stay here for another few months at least

and it would be stupid to not go for my ambitions because of temporarily having to live somewhere again, but i'm feeling sick thinking about it because i don't really know people there and yeah ugh
