the worst skiing is having a friend who can't ski and the there's skidag på skolen and you are stuck with someone who takes the skis off before uphill and downhill every time so you don't make it to the meeting point with enough time to eat before you have to start going back >: (

skiing is a lot of different things, if you use like a generalised term for it meaning something super specific it's going to cause confusion. i'm sure the default skiing, at least for norwegians, is cross-country skiing

Slalom/alpine is best imo idk, but im not very like ... I don't care abt proper technique (cue me being very bakoverlent and ingen staver) but telemark skis are the absolute worst, gotta have leg muscles

yeah i have gone down the steepest slope in trysil that is 45 degrees when i was like 15 haha
