Yeah agreed, even when doing bare minimum for my moms dad it ended up being a bunch of money very annoying

but also I think in some places funeral homes/etc are the ones spreading the ashes. We weren’t allowed to because they don’t want you to know exactly where they are spread out if it’s in a memory garden and you’re not allowed to dump ashes wherever you want in Sweden apparently

Yeah thats the usual way I think, idk w other parts of the country but where I live at least. But yeah they the same, cus u don't have that much freedom in choosing how it goes, u HAVE to include certain parts like religious singing songs I think, but usually u can choose to play some songs too (not just have them play the song (ew))
