christmas/Thanksgiving  cactus and an aloe vera plant or an agave maybe? You can drown those fast
They're for sure not getting too much water.

The green one's not an aloe vera though. My boyfriend thought it was, but it's not soft enough (we also murdered our actual aloe vera)

You could try to propagate, I have a similar one from the same genus and it developed roots in less than a week.

do you guys have tips for identifying plants? maybe a book or an app
and maybe a guide to plants because I do not want all the plants in my room to rot and die

the murder
She was a fucker who was very very big and unhandy and she cut our hands every time we tried to move her or water her. She looked like the tower of pisa, so I gave her a stick to help her stand more upright and it just made her rot.
oh noooo
that's really sad
I was more sad about it than my boyfriend was. It hadn't been kept well by his grandmother, so she was in bad shape when she came home with us and unfortunately it was hard to do anything

Remembering what the latin label says when getting it.

I'm unfortunately only a known person when it comes to foraging and wild plants

Like make cuttings and put it in water so you get baby plants. It works with most houseplants if you know where to cut.
