If u check the full set tex the set is 15ig but just one item is 16ig. Then it’s a duped item.

oh that makes sense...but doesn't that happen sometimes if items get deleted? I guess it would be unlikely all but one items would be lower. thanks for the info

Just don’t buy rares. They most is in mp for 10k +. Also if u did buy anything it will pop up in your wardrobe as new items.

yeah and thats what making it hard to realize rn :C i think they kind of took advantage of items that were 1-2 missing from the total set count, making it hard for any of us to be suspicious of it

From my understanding, this happened around a month ago where someone came onto VP and duplicated a BUNCH of rare items. You can still wear them, sell them, just like regular items. The issue is that because they are duplicated and NOT the original item, we're practically getting scammed because if we bought them (even without knowing), there is no guarantee that we will be entitled to a refund by the current Owner of VP. This means that they might delete the duplicated item from our wardrobes and not give us a refund. The duplicator from this current situation is now currently banned, but people who were sold/given the duplicated items are trying to sell them as the items are still in the system.

Old users have experienced a situation similar to this in the past and thats why it could be highly likely the same will happen this time too...but so far this is currently just a possibility and not confirmed yet. We are still waiting for a response from them.

How do I know if its a duplicate?
Duplicated items will appear on the first page of your wardrobe when they should be usually be ordered by newest-oldest. This means that old items released years ago should show on the last few pages of their category (ex. hair, top, hat), but are now showing on page 1 instead.

I suggest that you don't buy any expensive/low ig items from MP because it is impossible to tell from MP since it doesn't show up the same way as your wardrobe (what I described above).

I mean its more of vps fault that u can duplicate items yes ik games running on spaghetti code so thats why its easy and possible but its still vps fault and the mp thing too

but since there wasnt that many duplicates of old rares as of rare item didnt get duped 30x I think there could be chance of etjen letting dupees be in the system

or mb its cope bc lowkey think refunding stuff is harder because backtracking everything

^ And items is still adding in mp so vp have not found out who is doing this to stop it.
