oooooo fun!!

very important, what color lights do u use?

i’m unfortunately not that fond of color in my home so the tree has white decorations as well as the rest of the deco in my home. i’m a beige girly to the core

i’d love more green though. how about u?

thats how i feel about christmas, i'm never excited for it until a few days before.

thats so sad about the snow, but thats probably safer than the icy sludge of it melting and refreezing

its such a hassle always, i hate the gift giving thing so much lets just spend time together and bake cookies or smn sigh

thats true! snowmelting can lead to weeks of nightmareish conditions outdoors, this really was the best and safest way- but the transformation from a perfect winter wonderland to a drenched grey and brown soup of a landscape within just a couple hours was a sight to witness i didnt know if i wanted to laugh or cry

i avidly prefer holiday crafting get togethers and cookie swaps(or cookie socials) over gift giving too
i think theres a generational disconnect

NOT THE MUDDY SNOW SOUP, i wouldve cried

right !! i feel like thats what christmas is supposed to be, when did it become this consumerist nightmare

c': hopefully it wasnt the last snowfall this winter, then i will cry

i blame Hallmark, it feels like their fault

hopefully not

theres still plenty more time in winter

this year christmas hype just annoys me T_T i usually feel at least a little elated, but the way we celebrate the holidays is so much different than the west so i can never really relate to the western christmas spirit

also in the past couple of years, christmas around the corner means exams are around the corner as well and that. does not spark joy!

i am excited to see my family though

exams do NOT spark joy
but i agree the christmas vibes are very different everywhere really. so i can see how that may be a little obnoxious.

and seeing family is arguable the best/worst part of the season

nope bc my niece and nephew are going to celebrate Christmas with their father. so we are celebrating a mini Christmas with them before they are going to their father.

I don't like Christmas but that's a personal thing
snow is pretty to look at but just causes disasters we never get it bad enough in England for it to last so it melts and freezes and just causes a mess
