its bc his norwegian student money (i forgot the real word lol) does not get converted into danish crowns, and norwegian crowns are worth less in denmark. so he is just super broke living here

im really glad you say that. it feels like a hard choice to make, but i know i have to think of myself first if i dont want to end up destroyed. been there done that.

well for eu students yes like if i find a job and work like 10-12 hours a week i can get SU .. which is like 6k a month (+ salary ofc)
while norway is not part of the EU usually they are included in all that kinda stuff like EU/EEA zone or whatever

I know a friend who gets student money from both Denmark and Luxembourg so I don't see why he shouldn't be able to get from both Norway and Denmark 🤷🏻
As long as his total income won't get above a certain amount (which I dare say is unlikely with student money) there shouldn't be an issue there
