but idk a lot abt other countries' history but I do kno that the king of norway after the swedish norwegian union seemed like a not too shabby fella
he didn wanna become king until he was chosen by the ppl of norway (bro was a danish prince if I remember rite), nd he reigned during both world wars. When the nazis also told him to give up his crown he said no point blank, which fueled the norwegian population w hope nd determination (super undertale kinda vibe)
idc much for a monarchy but I can't deny that when the country was at a big low it might've helped tbh
