i have had this one for ages, but as a single bed, it can be pulled out to a double like in the picture but i dont have enough space for that
i could go on abt how much i dislike it for hours tbh but the main thing is how hard it is to keep it clean
oh ! how so?
well the thing is
the bottom part of the bed is completely closed all the way around, so if i want to clean underneath the bed i need to pull out the extension, take out the drawers, the mattress and the grids, basically dismantle the whole thing
and the drawers are directly underneath the mattress, so all the dust from the bed settles on whatever you are storing there which is kinda gross!
the backside is a solid plate, and at the top there is this plank that sticks out on each side so if i push it all the way into the wall it traps air in a very still environment perfect for mold growth- but if i dont push it all the way to the wall it creates this deep gorge id need extendeable arms to reach the bottom of. sometimes i drop things in there and cry
that plank think also makes it super uncomfortable to sit in the bed, thats just a minor inconvenience, i can get a pillow, but its a weird choice
and its super heavy, it took me n my mum over an hour of pushing and pulling like our lives depended on it to turn it around and shove it like one meter
also ! the closed environment underneath the mattress, w all the corners and metal frameworks for the pull out bed and the drawers, is a spiders dream come true, everytime i lift the mattress or open a drawer i startle a creature that hasnt seen light for generations and it startles me equally as much
it looks very cute, but its somehow the most inconvenient piece of furniture ever
so very descriptive aksjfhdkg this sounds awful i want u to get a new bed friend
