i felt like s1 was just so good you couldnt come close to what they had in terms of quality. It shouldve ended s3 latest. Imo vecna shouldnt have been added in the first place it kind of took away all sense of danger. The upside down didnt feel scary anymore since it didnt affect the characters in any way. I just waited for vecna to take over something like SOME kind of plot twist that never came. Guess time was running out with the actors getting older and stuff apparently they also cut a lot of content which was already a source of speculation for theorists like they gonna make a new season out of this like plsss just let it rest now
i was! season 2 is pretty decent too tbf, season 3 is when it disconnects and gets comical 
theres definetly a lot of content they could have explored further, but it has to be over now if they didnt want to end it they shouldnt have ended it in such an end like matter

yea the characters are what made me stay bcs you already got used to them seeing them all grown up. They just really didnt need to add the whole avengers cast at the end of the seasons it just got more and more and none of them were ever killed likeee whats the point some of them didnt even appear at the end like huh?? where is the teacher or robins gf like none of them even had personalities??????????? why didnt the military do anything at the end i just dont get how they just walked past all of that?? billy was a harder character to beat than vecna ngl
the final battle was weird like they've been building this up for so long and then they finish it just like that, and walk away, barely even breaking a sweat
and then it looked like the mind flayer thingy was gonna be the final challenge and it jsut. wasnt, it was so scary when they first introduced it and then it turned out to jsut be a weird fleshy alien wha

theres so much stuff they've been laying the ground work for but when it was finally time they went absolutely nowhere with it, and just introduced new things instead w/o fully exploring those either, so many strange decisions i scratch my head
yea its just unfortunate because i saw so many theories that could have saved this show its sad they ruined the image s1 had. Im sure the pressure was intense but likeeeeee dont make any new seasons if youre not ready for the heat. Soooo many plot holes that were just left unanswered. It seemed like they just wanted to have some impactful moment at the end of the season and then just decided to move on. i have thoughts abt the dialogue in certain scenes but thats the surprisingly good ones like dustin and finns fight and dustins speech ect, the rest .. matched the overall quality i feel like so i didnt really mind it😭

robins moment was big and that was just her and steve in a toilet booth
they were so close to getting it right too, the bond he formed w robin was super sweet and unlocked a lot of self acceptance and confidence in him and then they went ahead and dd that with it aj a istg
