sry im gonna disagree. no matter the cost braces are always worth it, even if its just for cosmetic purpose, but especially if its for your health!!!

my uncle had fucked up teeth but he didnt wanna pay a bunch to wear braces on the inside of his teeth for one year as an adult. ten years later his fucked up teeth has moved around to much that some of them have started to fall out. as to not lose more teeth he now has to pay even more to have regular braces for at least a few years 

youre gonna have your teeth for the rest of your life, better prioritize and take care of them while you still can

we just didnt know how much we lucked out not needing any ... we could eat everything without shit breaking and we had no pains
