but a lot of kids r tired of teachers that's like "YAY math is the most FUN thing in the world" and also a lot of teachers don't give much away of how they actually r as a person and their real life - n that's valid, but i personally like to admit that i don't always LOVe math and i do like gaming n anime n such so i kinda play on that bc kids find it interesting when they also do 
It feels like it's at least partially a generational thing. In my experience, the few younger teachers I've had have been more well-liked, because they're usually more chill in the way they present themselves.

that's true. n i guess u can play on it when u r younger bc u actually knows what's going on w kids these days hah. kids r SHOCkED when they figure out i kno what they're talking about sometimes
