As several of you have seen, some strange things have happened again on VP NL. For example, TOs were handed out to people, topics were deleted, possibly things were stolen from some players' wardrobe and possibly some accounts were deleted.
Today our Mods noticed that two accounts were behind this, namely 'Soter' and 'Wakeupcall'. As you may have already known, both accounts were created by Kaj, the previous owner of VP.
In fact, it goes on to say that the 'Wakeupcall' account was created even before VP was sold, and presumably, Kaj had created 'hidden' permissions for this account so that he could continue to log in anonymously. We are still looking into this.
This also explains some of the strange things that have happened in the past, such as closing a topic I had created.
Currently, both of Kaj's accounts are blocked. I would like to delete them, but then I will lose the login history and I need that for when we take further steps with this.
I am also in contact with two different IT people to check what happened, how this was all possible and what we can do to avoid this in the future.
