my moms metalhead friends are the nicest people ever
but i have yet to meet people my own age who dont mock me for liking babymetal ))):
ive always felt really welcomed at local metal shows like im not metal at all but my experience with metalheads has been like theyre big scary teddy bears and theyre so nice to me 

my one friend who is big into the local metal scene her apartment burned down and the scene got together and held a benefit concert for her so she could get her life back together like you dont see people do that in every scene

i have had the best time of my life in so many metal concerts too
i feel like it’s mostly people of my age and mostly online who do all the shit and gatekeeping
maybe they will learn

but i do believe that the older the nicer, if that makes sense
like my mothers generation are so much nicer than my own, in regards of metal (just what i have experienced, please noone from my generation come for me aaaaaaa )
