I haven't seen my family since February, I haven't touched a person since May, I'm really not doing well with not being able to travel to see my family because of this and all the stress and social isolation I have going on, I didn't even have time to cope with other stuff in my life. A dear friend of mine died two months ago (depression) and I still haven't had the time or emotional energy to fucking grief. So yeah, the second I can take the Vaccine, if this means, that I won't expose anyone else to risks anymore and am kinda safe myself, I'll do so.
Yes, it's a new kind of vaccine. But new doesn't have to mean crappy. Also, other vaccines also get released not even a year after they made it (like, every single year the flu, it's a new vaccine every single year, sure the base is somewhat the same, but it's every year a new strand of virus that causes the flu and every year it's a new vaccine). I'm willing to take the risk of the vaccine being inefficient after half a year or it making me feel bad for a week if it means I can at least for a few weeks feel like I'm leading a normal life anymore.
