i'm not saying it doesnt give me pause, but i also find it interesting what conclusions some of you are very quick to jump to
like it really seems like some of you have just been WAITING for this moment for something / anything to discredit this movement and are almost taking glee in FINALLY owning those *christian walker voice* dirty dirty ghetto BLM liberals
isnt that you jumping to your own conclusion and perception of people?
im skeptic to everyone and everything in general, it isnt limited to this movement nor organization, and looking at the things available to the public i think its plausible to consider the option of the co-founder dipping her toes in the donation pool to found her own luxury, it is very ironic due to the fact of her being an activist and a marxist who wants to abolish capitalism while she is literally living the capitalistic dream, instead of helping black neighbourhoods, running away from them
not to mention the fact that she has 4 properties, her net worth is calculated to be around $1m,
the funds that have been donated to the organization are not disclosed, it is documented that she has received $120,000 from her activism 2013-2021, that is not nearly enough for the amount that she has spent on housing, nor coupled with other incomes, so if anything im leaning towards the mentioned narrative
yet to be proven nor disproven so i dont see as to why you would point your finger and say that this is a chance to discredit a movement on vp when there are speculations about the co-founder discrediting the movement, it is incredibly sad and frustrating that the money was not donated to help victims and people who are affected by racial injustice and police brutality- there are literally victims such as michael brown junior, and his family (father from what i know) still hasnt gotten any help, there are big figures and people speaking out about this, so idk what u mean
