i mean, breaks are necessary too and may give you new perspectives and ideas.

i gotta say from personal experience that breaks are very much good for improving, i took lonk breaks between designing, months even, and it gave me a lot of new perspective on how to improve my old stuff

i also think that comment was targeted at someone who despite designing a decent amound doesnt improve, if you dont design nobody can expect you to get better at it (even though that might also happen)

yeah, don't. take a break if you do and get some new thoughts in. it's easy to be influenced by vp or anything ppl say but it's not always about you, and you know that, so you're in a place where you can tell yourself when you find yourself thinking that that that's not true for you. it's not you people are talking about. that you can calm down, try things out and figure what works for you over time. there's truly no rush.
