And that desire of having a friendship ends once you become an adult and become responsible for your own life. The need to be social stops once you learn to life by yourself.

But it is. Why do you think friendzoning is such a big deal for guys? Nobody wants to be just friends with a girl. They are only willing to to that if they hope for potential interest in the future.

It's about intent fam, I'd be upset if my intention was to court someone and while he wasn't interested in it. Friendzoning is a huge deal when you're actually into someone. 
It's not like guys genuinely see all women as potential partners or something to use and throw away as you appear to believe.
