It’s not only in this season. It happen in many seasons tbh, it’s all abt the stupid WiFi 🙃 I had the same issues with most of the seasons I’ve joined.

This have been going though all seasons and the lag didnt came from fortnite, but from the wifi. I watched some videos too, because i though it was something else ):
