Nope. Nope. You're totally safe to connect to FB without any embarassment.

The game asks you to "share" to FB sometimes but just back out and don't actually share it and you can get the 'share' rewards without actually sharing to FB.

it doesnt do anything with your facebook unless you do it yourself, so it only shares and invites friends when u do that.  u can use a nickname ! 
I hate that it still needs my contact information like I seriously hate that XD

It will only show you're playing to people on Facebook who are also playing.

I'm glad for it, I've played games with no connections and if you lose your phone you lose your whole dang account on the game. This way, your game account is safe!

No they can't. You see icons from facebook if you're on fb with a friend in game, but if you're not already connected then there's no way to find your FB thru the game.

I think it's just so you can be connected with FB frineds in game. I have two FB friends who play LN and I can have 102 friends on my friendlist, FB friends don't count toward your 100 so you can have more than 100 friends if you're friends on fb.
