I don't know about such people personally, but, yes I have heard about it. It scares me a little, but hopefully, my opening (if it succeeds) will be a calm one. I have gotten a lot of healing work and also healing towards my chakras so hopefully my soul is somewhat prepared.

There is alot of truth in what you are saying! That the soul is somewhat prepared - I think that is why my third eye opened, because my soul was ready. Do you use crystals?
