Yeah but thats why I get iffy abt ppl that are comfortable with their natural body, is comfortable dressing and presenting like their sex, and then they call themselves trans
Like not devaluing anyone but seems very weird
Though the way you dress does not imply your sex, but yes, I find it sketchy
Yeah, but i think of it as a part of the gender u are presenting to society, and if that gender matches the one u were born as and u have no plan to change anything either, then idk make no sense to me
It's rather the way the society wants you to be according to your sex. Thats why we see many masculine men and feminine women, because they are inforcing gender roles.
I just find sketchy the fact that someone who doesn't feel wrong about their body + genitals, calls themselves trans

And that's totally okay, don't feel pressured into labeling yourself
I don't and I appreciate ppl like u
because u know at the end even if for example we're both the same label lets say
it'll always be different
unique
so what's the point? I mean some ppl it might help?
but I'm good haha
I mean, if someone feels better labeling themselves, I don't really care because it does not harm anyone, it does not make anyone uncomfortable or anything
And yes, that's why I don't use much labels too
I'm just a butch lesbian and that's life
And I hope life will treat u well because it's a bitch lol
but yeah I agree
unless they shove it in my face or use those labels for god knows who and not really because they're confused

Thank you! I wish the same for you
I think, in general, shoving anyone anything in their faces is wrong
and about the labels, I find it quite weird the obsession with labeling yourself. A few years ago everyone was like "break the labels!" but now everyone needs labels to let people know who they are, but I think it should be enough for people to know who they are, if I'm explaining myself correctly

I think u can feel ok abt ur body if u are non-binary (but full on trans (???) Idk) but then u pretty much have to be uncomfy abt the way u present (if u present as ur sex) but like yeah... Idk, just dress as u want then I don't see how that changes ur gender rlly now that I think abt it but idk, im not trans

oh one thing about the reinforcing gender stereotypes thing, i just wanted to add something a bit trivial lol

imagine a male character who acts a bit feminine at times but the fandom wants to agree that the character is a trans male

i feel like that is a weird way of thinking, not only invalidating trans males bc it's like those ppl think they have to be 100% passing to be seen as proper males (u know what i mean when i say proper lol)

one thing that im curious abt is do u think its valid to have dysphoria and be NB instead of identifying w the opposite gender

lmk

I feel like this! My soul is queer, I dont feel comfortable with labels, but physically, I wish my body had masculine features. I'm like, a pretty flamboyant person with body dysphoria. My current body is not the one I'd like to have forever.
Non-binaries can be confident in their bodies and not want to change anything. Dysphoria can be based on how other people perceive u.
oh im curious, can u elaborate on bold
Like, an example. I hope it makes sense hehe. This is my interpretation.
You can be completely satisfied with your body as a non-binary person with no past surgeries/procedures, but other people see you as a girl and keep misgender you. Only that can cause dysphoria.

The same way I sometimes get refered as he/him because I dress in a masculine way, or people assume I'm transgender who passes really bad, so perhaps they feel bad for me. I don't get really mad because they think I'm trans, but rather because I feel like they can not accept that women can look masculine too

the character i had in mind is 2d l«EHYGEFRTH like ppl like to headcanon that he is trans bc he acts feminine at times and doesn't have the stereotypical male appearance?
i just see it as the trans men in the fandom projecting though

imo thats toxic masculinity rite, also stupid ffs his dick is canon

Gender and gender roles are the same, in my language at least. So, the way I see it, is a gender/gender roles issue
