Yeah mom was like a little kid, it was terrifying, my grandma called me from NC and I drove four hours and got there at like 5am and the ambulance had taken mom to the hospital where they NEVER gave her a psych eval. I was furious, stayed around for a while til it was dealt with and things just got worse and worse.

Yeah according to my mom she hit her head and it regressed her into a child or baby... I guess 

A similar thing happened when my mom went to the hospital for the first time. She thought she was having heart attacks and seizures. They did ekgs but no psych evaul. They told her it was just anxiety and to go home 

When I called for a welfare check I was told I could request an evaluation whenever she goes to the er. I wish I knew that the first time lol  Idk if that would apply in your area but passing it on
