i dont think that not having sexual interets in people when youre not in love is a sexuality or even something that needed a label but young people wanna label everything
idk, idec, but to give an example -which could be very rellevant for the dating process for example in norway where i live

Dating trend in Norway:
Meet - fuck - date - become a couple

And probably most people, world wide:
Meet - date - develop a bond - fuck - become a couple

Me and other demis:
Meet - develop a platonic bond (friendship for example) - *aestethic/romantic/sensual attraction* - date / become a couple - MAYBE fuck
yea when i was young we just said 'i only become attracted to people im already friends with' and didnt like say we were part of the lgbt or a unique sexuality this is a normal thing and young people have decided to label it as its own sexuality IMO
I could have said that too -demi is just a shorter explanation lmao

Yeah idk but I know some ppl don't like ace being in the lgbt group, which imo is more "valid" as its own thing rather than demi but it might idk, I just see ppl talk very rarely abt demi stuff cus its just normal human things ig

would it give more sense if I said I'm asexual, and could only MAYBE be ok with sex or be gray-asexual if I developed deep feelings for a specific person who at that time would be one of my greatest friends of possably years? demi

If you're straight and "Demi" You're not LGBT+, but if you're queer and "demi" you are a part of the LGBT+ community... bc you're queer lmao

Depends if u feel sexual attraction or not ig, is the differenve between demi n ace, a lot of ace ppl can have sex normally and do that but still feel no sexual attraction to ppl

What u think abt ace heteros being part of the lgbt, since thats lack of sexual attraction to any gender at all
