If you're straight and "Demi" You're not LGBT+, but if you're queer and "demi" you are a part of the LGBT+ community... bc you're queer lmao
What u think abt ace heteros being part of the lgbt, since thats lack of sexual attraction to any gender at all
i'd say yes

Depends if u feel sexual attraction or not ig, is the differenve between demi n ace, a lot of ace ppl can have sex normally and do that but still feel no sexual attraction to ppl
hmmm, i would say I have no sense of sexual attraction, but can see sex as a part of sensual attraction towards a great friend
🤔🤔
yeah u tell me -like I'm not trying to be that snowflake but I haven't found any other ways of better describing this than demi (cause I'm not 100% ace)

Idk, I feel like if you're only romantically or sexually attracted to the opposite gender of your own, you're not a part of a queer community, unless you're not cis of course. So if you're Hetero-romantic and asexual, I don't think you're a part of LGBT+, but if you're homo-romantic/ bi-romantic and asexual, ofc you are a part of it?? if that makes sense??

but  at the same time, I'm not a spokes person for the entire community, and I don't decide who is and who isn't allowed to feel like they're a part of it. But like,,,, if you're straight, cis and ace, why do you even feel the need to call yourself lgbt+? idk

I just feel like it's weird referring to yourself as lgbt+, if you're only attracted to the opposite gender of you, having sex or not having sex with said gender doesn't make you any less straight.

Am I making sense? I hope I am.

And again, that's where I just also don't understand cishet people's need to squeeze into the queer community every time they do something that isn't completely heteronormative?

Like, why do you want to be oppressed so badly? Why do you fight so hard to be a part of a community that still gets slaughtered because they don't fit the normative world?

that's fair!! I don't except every1 to agree with me all the time lol
but like I said before, I won't stop anyone from saying they're a part of lgbt+ , I just don't agree/understand why lol

I don't personally care abt being in the lgbt community or not but I would guess for others its more abt being accepted, n also cus its a struggle (less so than being gay n stuff tho) to b ace so they kinda fit in, plus yeah as the thing I said, it will b kind of validated as its own sexuality or lack of one if its not excluded, but ig it just depends how u view the lgbt community

Yes, I wouldn’t break up because of this
there would be a reason i got in a relationship with them and it wouldn’t be focused on their pronouns ig as long as they are somewhat also hetero (cause I’m hetero and it would make things pretty confusing and difficult)
