i think it's just i'm used to wooden houses and shit like that, so the appearance of everything within ring 1 and to some degree ring 2 have major slum vibes to me like why would anyone live like this
even på grünerløkka theres a neighborhood with very cozy wooden houses which is wild tbh but then you walk like 10 meter away from the house and ur back to regular grünerløkka

i would love to get more into technical stock investing rather than fundamental, it seems soooo fun and fast and addrenaline like, but i feel like it would take a year of true dedication to actually understand it well enough to use. and then time to follow the stocks to notice when the graphs go into a certain technical patterns.... so that's very cool to hear that you're more into that!

i study the law program with one year left aaA

what are you graduating from? i am actually very interested in studying finance related to these subjects but i don't think i can get any more student loans after i'm done.... pretty maxed out after what will be 6 years of uni
It surely would be very time consuming but at the end of it, it would all be worth it. So i say do it! It might be the best decision you will have ever made.

Jesus... studying law seems like a nightmare to me.

Literally high school lmaoo
aww that's unfortunate
i'm actually going to be the chairman for the stocks group student association i mentioned before in 2023 so it might be 2 birds in one stone there hhaha

my dm's are open if u ever wanna talk about technical stock investing btw!!!!!

tbh i dislike up to 80% of law subjects but the 20% are what gets me going . . !

oh hahah fair enough! finance sounds like a good plan then

yeah but i think i will look into it because i would rather study half a year of finance than get a bad job or smth
Congratulations!!

Oh for sure will be reaching out, if i ever have any questions.

At least there's the 20%!  i could not do it so thank god i have figured out what im good at and enjoy at the same time.
I've always been more into entrepreneurship, was considering project management but i think finance is a safer backup option.

I completely understand that and would do the same.

thanks !! am terrified and excited

oh idk if i could answer them but i would love to discuss!!

ahahhah yeah it's nice that we got to pick an orientation at the beginning of the year so now i don't have to study like, family law and social law and stuff lke that. that shit was so uninteresting i'm impressed of myself for passing

that's soo good to have figured out early on!! i bet u will do great then as well
project management seems a bit less fun than finance and more "isolated" so i still vote for your original plan it sounds very good !

Haha, I'm glad you can appreciate that.

But yeah no, I just don't think there's a point in having any plans, because I have no idea how to make things happen anyway. Like, I'm here, 25 years old today (!), I have a master's degree, I was unemployed for a year, then got a job in customer service at Postnord that I'm now stuck with, so things aren't exactly going well... I mean, sure, I could come up with a plan, but when I can't get a proper job even with hundreds of applications, what am I supposed to do...?

but is there any reason why you would ever need to live here again? do you need to go here for school or something, or can you just avoid oslo?
