I have a question, what does gender mean in your language?
gênero refere-se à identidade com a qual uma pessoa se identifica ou se autodetermina; independe do sexo e está mais relacionado ao papel que o indivíduo tem na sociedade e como ele se reconhece.

basically the translation to what claire said except it's just masculine or feminine

I find finnish really easy to speak; I obviously do not speak it but it's literally pronounced like spanish
no, that's wrong
But I've seen people pronouncing finnish and it's the same way we talk in spanish. Like, the sound
I don't agree at all, Finnish has a lot of sounds which are not present in Spanish and vice versa, two languages that are illogically similar is actually Greek and Spanish - it infuriates me because I know some of both and I'm still incapable of deciding what language I'm hearing if I overhear someone talk one of them on public transport. I can always, 10/10 times, detect that I'm listening to Finnish.. but I'm also very exposed to Finnish and it's absurd like that - my dad refused to talk it with us, I've nevertheless been surrounded by it my entire life so I do have some native-like intuitions about the sound but I'm incapable of understanding and using it

Oh! You're portuguese? Or brazilian? if you don't mind me asking.
Then, gender would be the same as in spanish; gender roles. But gender roles are a social construct and they are imposed differently depending on your sex

i'd like to add that in portuguese it seems like the neutral is rather masculine, not like "they/them" in english

Which sounds? It seems interesting!
Greek and spanish are pretty different, though. I can tell who's speaking spanish and who's speaking a foreign language. But spanish is pretty varied, there's a lot of accents and south america's spanish vs spain's spanish are different.
