That's cool though! I meant I'm half latina and half spanish because I only consider my roots from my parents. But I'm rather more mixed. From my mother's side, I come from a chinese + turkish roots, too. But my father's roots are really boring. 100% spanish

Your roots are yours. You have the right to identify with them, whether you identify more as black rather than portuguese or viceversa

I really love heritage stuff so this is so cool to me when people share their roots!

What I do know about my own is that I decent from viking kings and after that several royals in Europe because my family have been able to track a lot back in time! My mom's DNA test there are Eastern-European but it's so minimal, it was afterall a while ago lol

But ngl I am kinda proud of that
